2 - Documentation Updates June 12 2023

• Updated the Wallaroo Install Guides to include environmental setup in more convenient card format.
• Added the Computer Vision: Image Detection for Health Care tutorial showing how to use computer vision models to detect cell organelles.
• Updated the Private Containerized Model Container Registry Guide to include instructions on setting up and using a Google Cloud Platform Artifact Registry service with Wallaroo for containerized models.
• Moved Wallaroo Authentication Configuration Guides with User Management for easier references.
• Other updates in line with the different documentation versions to back port instructions that are relevant to previous Wallaroo releases.

3 - Documentation Updates March 31 2023

• Integrate Azure Kubernetes Wallaroo Cluster with Azure Managed Grafana: Guide on how to monitor an Azure Kubernetes cluster hosting a Wallaroo instance with Azure managed Grafana.
• Wallaroo SDK Essentials Guide: Client Connection: Updated the SDK Client guide with auth_type="user_password" for seamless logins without browser confirmation.

4 - Documentation Updates March 03 2023

• Wallaroo SDK Azure Databricks Install Guide demonstrates how to use the Wallaroo SDK from within Azure Databricks.
• Wallaroo Tutorials with Arrow Updates have received a major overhaul for the new Wallaroo 2023.1 Arrow enablement release. Nearly all tutorials have been updated to demonstrate how to use Wallaroo proprietary JSON or Pandas DataFrames files.
• Wallaroo JSON Inference Data to DataFrame and Arrow Tutorials: A whole new guide with examples on how to convert inference data from Wallaroo proprietary JSON to Pandas DataFrame and Apache Arrow.

5 - Documentation Updates January 27 2023

• The Hot Swap Models Tutorials demonstrates how to swap models in a deployed pipeline in a single command.
• The Computer Vision Tutorials provide methods of using pre-trained vision models in Wallaroo and compare mobilenet and resnet50 based models in a shadow deployed pipeline step.
• Wallaroo SSO Configuration for Seamless Redirect provides users the ability to set a default Identity Provider to update the user login experience.
• Wallaroo SDK AWS Sagemaker Install Guide shows how to install the Wallaroo SDK from within AWS Sagemaker and perform sample inferences.

6 - Documentation Updates January 13 2023

• Added tutorials for Containerized MLFlow and instructions on registering a private containerized model registry that can be used with containerized models such as MLFlow.
• Updated the DNS Integrations Guide to specify that after updating DNS information or security certificates, that Wallaroo should be reinstalled.
• Updated the Wallaroo API Guide with additional methods of using tokens and using standard Python libraries to connect to the MLOps API.

7 - Documentation Updates December 23 2022

• Model Serving Inference API and Model Endpoints Guide: How to set up Model Serving Endpoints aka Inference URLs to submit inference requests to a deployed pipelines.
• MLOps API: Guides on how to use the Wallaroo MLOps API, tutorials on the commands, and reference guide.
• SDK Install Guides: Instructions on how to install the Wallaroo SDK in the following environments:
  • Wallaroo SDK Standard Install Guide: How to install the Wallaroo SDK in a standard Python development environment.
  • Wallaroo SDK AzureML Install Guide: How to install the Wallaroo SDK in the AzureML environment and make a connection to a Wallaroo instance through Azure Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication.
  • Wallaroo SDK Google Vertex Install Guide: How to install the Wallaroo SDK in the Google Vertex environment and and make a connection to a Wallaroo instance through Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication.
• Wallaroo Authentication Configuration Guides: The following guides are now available to show how to set up SSO for the following providers:
  • Wallaroo SSO for Microsoft Azure.
  • Wallaroo SSO for Google Cloud Platform.
• Assay User Interface Updates and Search Filters: Assays documentation updated to demonstrate how to use advanced configuration features through the user interface, and filter assays by name and status.
• Helm Install: Early access instructions on installing Wallaroo using helm. These include a standard Kubernetes cloud based install, and reference documents to Helm based values.

8 - Documentation Updates November 01 2022

• A/B Testing Tutorial: Demonstrates how to use Wallaroo’s add_random_split with a pipeline for A/B testing. This is used to compare a control model against one or more challengers.
• Using Jupyter Notebooks in Production: This tutorial demonstrates how a data scientist and MLOps Engineer would start with data analysis and model training to model deployments and updates.

9 - Documentation Updates October 14 2022

• Inference Timeouts: This updates the default timeout period for the Pipeline infer and infer_from_file provides a timeout parameter to allow for longer timeout periods for larger amounts of data or more complex pipeline steps.
• SDK Reference Guide: The Wallaroo SDK Reference Guide provides developers with an expanded list of Wallaroo objects and methods.
• Simulated Edge Tutorial: Demonstrates how to constrain Wallaroo resources to operate in an edge environment.

• Added Install Wallaroo with Minimum Services guide.
• Updated the Wallaroo Install Guides to recommend single availability zone for cloud Kubernetes environments that may be stopped and started.
• Specific Node Installation published to instruct users on how to install Wallaroo into specific Kubernetes nodes.
• Statsmodel Upload to Wallaroo Tutorial updated to specify how the PKL file is generated.
• Model Tag Management: Model tag management guide.
• Pipeline Tag Management: Pipeline tag management guide.
• DNS Integration Guide: Updated the instructions for Subject CNs with or without prefixes.
